Benjamin Congdon-Jones

NORAM Director of Operations and Technology at Braincube

Benjamin Congdon-Jones has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Benjamin started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Southern Maine, where they performed computational investigations and curated data for NIH-funded research projects. Benjamin also developed algorithms and visualization tools using OpenGL and Java.

Benjamin then joined Bowdoin College as a Research Assistant, where they continued their research on SULT6B1 gene and developed a program in C++ to streamline processes. Benjamin also curated data from public databases for multiple projects.

Moving on, Benjamin joined QuEST Global as a Project Engineer, where they developed tools in Python to enhance workflow execution efficiency and integrated Python with SQL databases for data storage and manipulation. Benjamin also identified and fixed a major security vulnerability in the software infrastructure.

Currently, Benjamin is working at Braincube, starting as a Data Architect and progressing to become the NORAM Data Architect Team Manager. Benjamin later transitioned to the role of NORAM Manager of Operations and Technology and is currently serving as the NORAM Director of Operations and Technology.

Benjamin Congdon-Jones pursued their education at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2012 to 2016. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
