Sarah Norman currently serves as Executive Director at BrainFutures, a position held since November 2024. Previously, Norman was Chief of Community Development at Sheppard Pratt Health System from September 2019 to November 2024. Additional experience includes roles as National Director for the Healthy Homes & Communities Initiative at NeighborWorks America and various positions within the US Department of Health and Human Services, including Director of the Rate Review Grants Program and Senior Advisor to the Director of Oversight. Norman also worked in the US Congress as Senior Policy Advisor to Chairwoman Louise M. Slaughter and held senior roles at the Baltimore City Health Department. Early career experiences include positions as a Commissioner for the Mayor's Sustainability Commission, Researcher at the World Fish Center, Legislative Aide at the Massachusetts State House, and Research Analyst in Economics and Technology. Academically, Norman holds a Masters in Public Policy focused on health care policy and management from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in History from Harvard University.
