Christian R. Jimenez

Christian R. Jimenez is an experienced engineering professional specializing in electronics and design, currently serving as Principal Design Engineer at Brainlab since November 2015, where previous roles included Senior Design Engineer and Design Engineer. Prior to this, Christian worked as a Research Assistant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, contributing to research in spatial multiplexing at microwave frequencies, resulting in a published paper. An earlier role included being a Master of Science in Information Technology candidate and Research Assistant at Hochschule Mannheim. Additionally, Christian has extensive experience at GBM Corporation, where responsibilities included managing customer service operations and implementing ITIL processes, along with a foundational career at GBM de Costa Rica SA focusing on customer support and system engineering. Christian holds a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Hochschule Mannheim and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad de Costa Rica UCR.
