Yaron Segal

Yaron Segal has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of atmospheric physics and innovation. Yaron is currently the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) at BrainQ Technologies since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior atmospheric physicist at WeatherNet LTD from 2007 to 2014 and at Wales LTD from 2001 to 2011. Yaron was also a Co-founder and Senior atmospheric physicist at IARD from 1998 to 2001, where they specialized in meteorology, atmospheric sciences, and satellite data analysis. Yaron began their career as a Senior atmospheric physicist at EORD in 1997 and previously worked as a Flight and radar operations scientist at AARRP - Thailand Rain Enhancement Project from 1994 to 1997.

Yaron Segal completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1985 to 1990. Yaron then pursued a Master of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences at the same institution from 1991 to 1995. Continuing their education, Segal obtained their Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1996 to 2004. Following this, they further expanded their expertise by completing a Post Doctoral program in Atmospheric Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2004 to 2008.
