Avinash Raj holds an MBA, MDes, and BE, and currently serves as Senior Manager of User Experience at Thomson Reuters, leading AI-driven UX innovation for Westlaw and previously managing UX strategies for Practical Law and Checkpoint. Avinash is the founder of payitfwd.design, a community providing pro-bono design services, and has been a Lead Educator at BrainStation, mentoring in Design Thinking and UX. As a Board member for the Sophia Hilton Foundation, Avinash supports initiatives in folklore promotion. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Slalom and Canada Post, where Avinash established service design practices and led cross-functional UX teams. Earlier ventures include founding IndusOrigin and Autofox, as well as consulting with BlueGuru. Avinash's educational background comprises an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master’s from the National Institute of Design, and a Bachelor’s from PES University, complemented by a digital marketing certificate.
