George Dunwood Jr. is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and mentoring across various age groups and countries. Currently serving as a Teacher at The Education Team since May 2022, George has also worked as a Reading Specialist at Horizons at San Francisco Friends School and an ELD Teacher for K-2nd grades at Yu Ming Charter School. Previous roles include remote teaching at Jilin University-Lambton College and tutoring at USC Rossier School of Education. With international teaching experience spanning Africa, Asia, and Europe from 2011 to 2017, George has held positions such as Assistant Director of International Training Programs in China and various teaching roles in Morocco, Indonesia, and Poland. George holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California and additional degrees in Theology and Fine Arts from Emory University and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, respectively.
