Laura Rueda Delgado

Laura Rueda Delgado has a diverse range of work experience in the field of neuroscience and data science.

Starting in 2018, Laura worked as a Data Science Consultant at FIRE1 Foundry for over a year, utilizing their expertise in data analysis and statistics.

In 2017, Laura joined Trinity College Dublin as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the laboratory of Prof. Whelan. During their two-year tenure, they focused on setting up advanced pipelines for neuroimaging data analysis and statistics. Additionally, Laura conducted research on brain networks in adolescents using fMRI and investigated neural correlates of inhibition using EEG. Laura'swork resulted in the publication of two first-author articles.

At Trinity College Dublin, Laura also served as a Science Foundation Ireland Postdoctoral Research Fellow from October 2019 to September 2020. In this role, they collaborated with BrainWaveBank Ltd., a Belfast and Dublin-based company, to explore the potential of home-based electro-encephalography measurements and gamified cognitive tasks in predicting behavioral performance in older adults.

Laura's most recent position is as a Senior Research Engineer at Cumulus Neuroscience, starting in October 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Marie Skłodowska Curie Research Fellow at the same company from October 2020 to September 2022.
