Robert Filipkowski, CET, CSM, LSP, MSP

Robert Filipkowski has a diverse work history in the field of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) and training. Robert currently works at Thermo Fisher Scientific as the EHS Programs and E-Systems Senior Manager, overseeing multi-site EHS management systems. Prior to that, they served as the EHS Program Manager at Brammer Bio, where they also managed EHS systems across multiple sites.

From 2005 to 2011, Filipkowski was the Owner-Principal Safety Professional at The Safety Element, providing safety training consultations and assistance to clients. Robert joined Sanofi Genzyme in 2011 and held various roles, including HSE Systems/Training Manager, Lead Principal Training Specialist, and Principal Technical Trainer.

Filipkowski also has experience as an Occupational Health and Safety Senior Training Specialist at Genzyme and as a member of the Board of Selectmen for the Town of North Brookfield, where they managed the town's operations and budget.

Throughout their career, Filipkowski has demonstrated expertise in EHS management systems, ISO standards, training program development, and regulatory compliance. Robert is known for their strong communication and organizational skills.

Robert Filipkowski has a diverse education history. In 2017 to 2018, they attended Southern New Hampshire University and obtained a Certificate in Human Resources Management and Services. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities, as well as a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with a Business Administration Concentration from the same university.

Additionally, Robert has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In July 2021, they received the CIT (Certified Safety Professional) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. In February 2021, they obtained the Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional certification from the Management & Strategy Institute. Robert also acquired the Certified PSAW (Personality Styles At Work) Facilitator certification from HRDQ in March 2018.

Other certifications include ISO Internal Auditor for 14001:2015 from Capaccio Environmental Engineering, Inc. in June 2017, Change Management/Leadership from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in May 2017, and various construction safety and health certifications from OSHAcademy Safety and Health Training in October 2016. Furthermore, they have received certifications in Employment Law Fundamentals from Universal Class in August 2016 and Training Manager Certificate from Training Magazine in November 2015. Robert also holds the title of Certified Safety Manager from the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP) as of July 2016.

In terms of additional professional development programs, Robert completed the Managing Others Program from Harvard Business Publishing in September 2015 and holds a certification as a Certified Life Coach acquired in September 2015 as well.
