Amanda Hodgetts-Martin

Amanda Hodgetts-Martin is the Director of Risk Management at Branch. Amanda has over 6 years of experience in risk management, fraud, credit, and collections. Prior to joining Branch, Amanda was the Risk Manager at Blispay, a Fintech startup that was acquired by Alliance Data Card Services in February 2019. Amanda was responsible for establishing risk operations for Blispay and led a team of three fraud and customer experience analysts. Amanda also managed the relationship with the call center vendor and oversaw all outsourced customer service work. In their role at Blispay, Amanda also partnered with the internal sales team to develop strategies for identifying and signing merchant partners that would drive application volume from desirable customers.

Some of Amanda's accomplishments include reducing regulatory complaints by 66% through enhanced procedures and credit decisioning, optimizing and developing risk strategies which increased the credit auto-approval rate from 75% to 93%, and significantly improving vendor performance through the development of performance metrics, audits and incentive plans.

Before joining Blispay, Amanda was the Business Performance Manager, Global Collections at PayPal. In this role, Amanda was responsible for managing PayPal's global collections portfolio and improving customer satisfaction levels. Amanda was also the Manager of Customer Security Operations at PayPal where they were responsible for investigating cases of fraud and policy violations.
