Emily Schnaidt, J.D. has gained extensive work experience in various roles throughout their career. Emily started as a Labor Relations Law Clerk at Chicago Public Schools and later became a Disability Rights Law Clerk at the Illinois Attorney General's Office. Emily also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School, where they led workshops for incarcerated youth and implemented mediation programs. Emily further served as a General Counsel Fellow at Granite School District and Minneapolis Public Schools, managing compliance projects and creating training modules. Additionally, Emily worked as an Associate Attorney at Ratwik, Roszak & Maloney, P.A., representing public sector clients in legal matters including HR, employment, and discrimination claims. Emily then transitioned to a Senior Employee Relations Consultant at Thrivent Financial, offering expertise in employment law and HR matters. Emily's most recent role was as Director of People and Culture at Whistic, a SaaS startup, where they led the HR function and played a key role in company growth, culture-building initiatives, and program development. Presently, they are the Head of People at Branch, where they continue to utilize their skills and expertise in people management.

Emily Schnaidt, J.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Following that, they attended BYU Law School from 2011 to 2014, where they earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
