Maria Wood is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in commercial finance, having held various positions at Brand Addition since October 2015, where Maria currently serves as Head of Commercial Finance. Maria has a strong history of supporting executive management, leading finance teams, and delivering financial reporting for key business units across multiple countries. Previously, Maria worked at Marks and Spencer in several supervisory finance roles, honing skills in team management, reconciliations, and process improvements, while also contributing to significant projects for business transitions. Early career experiences include roles at Esso and Grupo Akkar SA de CV, where Maria developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Advertising from Universidad Rafael Landívar.
