Greg Essner

Greg Essner is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Fractional CFO at Transitive Advisors LLC since June 2019, and previously at Fractional Finance LLC until October 2023, Essner has focused on building financial infrastructure to support client growth. As a Senior Consultant at Paradigm Governance Partners Limited from January 2020 to August 2022, Essner contributed to a client-focused fiduciary services model. Prior to this, Essner held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Trian Fund Management, L.P. from its inception in 2005 until 2019, overseeing financial operations for a multi-billion-dollar investment firm. Essner's earlier career includes senior roles at Triarc Companies and KPMG, with extensive expertise in SEC reporting, financial planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Essner earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Adelphi University.
