Jovita Bell

Jovita Bell is a dedicated advocate for systemic change in financial aid and higher education, currently serving as a uAspire Policy Fellow since September 2024. Further commitments include roles as a Research and Advocacy Fellow at ENACT and a Confidential Peer Advocate at the Prevention, Advocacy & Resource Center, focusing on issues of sexual violence and advocacy. At Brandeis University, Jovita has held multiple positions including Community Advisor, Rich Collins Fellow, Health Coordinator, and Co-Founder of Da Book Collective, promoting community engagement and support for BIPOC students. Additionally, Jovita has gained experience through internships at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association, and completed the SHPEP Dental Scholar program. The educational background includes Brandeis University, where studies are ongoing, and Dekalb Early College Academy, from which Jovita graduated in May 2021.
