Thomas Cottle

Thomas Cottle is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Biochemistry and Biophysics at Brandeis University, focusing on the study of the mitochondrial unfoldase/protease pair CLPXP in the Kardon Lab. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant II at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where responsibilities included protein expression, purification, and crystallization, and as a Research Associate at T2 Biosystems, contributing to research studies related to the T2Plex instrument and Hemostasis platform. Additional roles encompass an Immunohistochemistry Intern at Cell Signaling Technology, a Research Assistant at University College Dublin, and a Protein Science Intern at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, each providing valuable laboratory experience and technical skills. Cottle holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Biotechnology from Endicott College.
