Chris Miller

Chris Miller is the Chief People Officer at Brandlive. Prior to joining Brandlive, Chris was the Senior Vice President Human Resources at Opus Agency from February 2020 to December 2021. Chris was also the Technical Recruiting Manager at Urban Airship from April 2013 to June 2013, where they were responsible for designing and establishing internal recruiting functions to hire specific engineering talent to support the organization's growth plans.

From July 2013 to February 2020, Chris was the Vice President, Human Resources at Smarsh, where they supported over 450 employees in North America via program design and implementation. Chris was a strategic leader for Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards (Compensation, Immigration, and Employee Benefits), and the HR Business Partner model, inclusive of employee relations, employee engagement, leadership development, and HR compliance.

During their time at Smarsh, Chris designed and implemented an employee engagement program, inclusive of full project management ownership of the system implementation process. Chris also designed and evolved the Management-By-Objective program multiple times based on aligning with key business objectives and drivers. Additionally, Chris designed and documented all HR systems and processes for FedRAMP compliance in order to help the business obtain its certification process.

Chris has also been responsible for designing and implementing an HR business partner model that focuses on multiple programs to help employees and leaders be more effective, and ultimately successfully accomplish their goals. Chris has implemented an Ask Leadership program that provided a unique platform for employees and leaders to discuss the progress

Chris Miller attended Bromley College in London, where they studied business and finance. Chris then attended Charles Darwin School, where they obtained a high school diploma. Chris is also certified by VitalSmarts as a "Crucial Conversations" trainer.
