Mads Ragnvald Nielsen - Msc

Mads Ragnvald Nielsen is a skilled professional with extensive experience in maritime safety and engineering, currently serving as Project Leader in Advanced Fire Engineering Energy & Transport at DBI - Dansk Brand- og sikringsteknisk Institut since May 2024. Mads has also held roles as a Teaching Assistant at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, Guest Lecturer at the University of Southern Denmark, and Adjunct/External Examiner at SIMAC. As a co-founder of Scoutbase, Mads is focused on developing an AI-driven tech platform to enhance safety and performance. Previous experience includes marine accident investigation with the Danish Maritime Accident Investigation Board and various positions in marine operations and surveying. Mads holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Factors and System Safety, along with several other qualifications in maritime surveying and engineering.
