Shannon Wilsey

Media and Research Specialist at Brandpoint

Shannon Wilsey has a diverse work experience. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Literacy Tutor at ISD 728 - Zimmerman Elementary School. In 2012, they joined the Wisconsin Historical Society as an Archives Assistant, later becoming a Digital Project Assistant until August 2014. In 2013, they also worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Special Collections as a Rare Books Library Assistant and Reference Worker, staying until May 2014. Since 2015, Shannon has been working at Brandpoint. Shannon started as an Account Development Coordinator, then became an Earned Media Coordinator from January 2016 to January 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Media and Research Specialist at Brandpoint.

Shannon Wilsey's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Concordia College. Shannon pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Humanities, completing their studies in 2010. In 2012, Shannon enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned a Master of Library & Information Studies (MLIS) degree. This educational journey concluded in 2014. Moreover, in the same year, Shannon also attended Rare Book School at the University of Virginia, focusing on the History of the Printed Book in the West from 1450-1800. The specific end year for their time at Rare Book School is not provided.
