Chad Leger

Chad has over 20 years of experience working in finance and strategy at various different businesses. He joined BrandProject in August 2018 as a Partner.

Chad started his career working at Deloitte in their strategy consulting practice while also pursuing his CPA designation. After Deloitte, Chad joined Sprint Nextel as a Director where he led a team in the Corporate Strategy group, and also helped with merger integration of Sprint’s acquisition of Nextel. After Sprint Nextel, Chad joined Andrew Black at Virgin Mobile Canada first as Director, Sales Planning and later Director, Business Planning. In this role, Chad worked with the Senior Management Team where he managed short term planning (annual budget, pricing and business cases) and analysis as well as long term strategic plans. After Virgin, Chad was the VP Finance at Chango, where he built the finance team and operations from the ground up, and was an integral member of the team during its acquisition by the Rubicon Project in 2015. Chad was then the interim CFO of Freshly (a BrandProject portfolio company) where he helped with fundraising (both equity and debt) and help develop core processes to position the company for a substantial period of growth.

Chad graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Undergrad and Masters of Management Accounting degree. He lives with his wife in Toronto.
