Joe Flannery

Joe Flannery has over 15 years of work experience, with their most recent role being Vice President, Commercial Operations (Canada) at BrandSafway since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Project Controls and Operations Excellence from 2020 to 2023. From 2015 to 2020, Joe was the Project Controls Director at BrandSafway, where they focused on driving continuous improvement for the Western Canada business. Before joining BrandSafway, Joe worked at Schrader Electronics as a Customer Product Engineer from 2011 to 2013, where they managed customer-specific contacts and continuous improvement projects. Prior to that, they were a Quality Assurance Controller at Direct Medics Ltd. from 2009 to 2011, where they managed various functions and implemented a Quality Management System.

Joe Flannery pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Engineering from Ulster University, from 2004 to 2009. In 2013, they obtained a Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Schrader Electronics. Joe then obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2014. In 2017, Joe Flannery pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Jack Welch Management Institute, which they completed in 2020. Alongside their formal education, they also obtained additional certifications, including "Leading with Next-Generation KPIs, with Michael Schrage" from LinkedIn in April 2021, "Lean Inventory Management" from LinkedIn in February 2019, "Green Belt Lean Six Sigma" from Schrader Electronics in February 2013, "Level 3 Award in First Line Management" from the Chartered Management Institute in May 2011, and "Internal QMS Auditor Training" from QCS International in September 2010. Currently, no end year is provided for their studies at the Project Management Institute.
