Karen Long is an experienced educator with a career spanning over two decades in various educational roles. Since November 2013, Karen has served as a First Grade Teacher and previously held the position of Elementary School Principal at Brandywine Heights Area School District. Prior to this, Karen worked at Daniel Boone Area School District from August 1998 to November 2013, where roles included Coordinator of Instructional Services, Elementary Assistant Principal, Head Teacher for Monocacy Elementary School, and 3rd Grade Teacher. Karen Long's educational background includes a Principal Certification in Educational Leadership from Alvernia University, a Master’s Degree in Education from Wilkes University, a Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from Penn State University.
