Kristyn Kressler

Corporate Director Of Program Excellence at Brandywine Senior Living

Kristyn Kressler has a comprehensive work experience in the field of therapeutic recreation and program coordination. Kristyn started their career in 1995 as a Program Coordinator at JFK Health, where they worked until 1996. Following this, they joined Willow Creek Care & Rehabilitation Center and Neuro-Med Head Trauma as the Director of Therapeutic Recreation from 1996 to 1999. In 1999, they moved on to Brandywine Living where they held various roles, including Recreation Director and Assistant Administrator from 1999 to 2013. In 2014, they were promoted to the position of Corporate Director of Program Excellence at Brandywine Living, a role they currently hold.

Kristyn Kressler, CTRS, CDP holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness/Therapeutic Recreation from Montclair State University, which they earned between 1991 and 1994. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Middlesex College, which they completed from 1989 to 1991. Additionally, they are also a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and a Certified Dementia Practitioner, awarded by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification and the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) respectively.
