Tara Malpass

Tara Malpass has over a decade of experience in research and analysis, currently serving as the Research Team Leader for Industry Performance and Social Research at BRANZ since January 2014. Previously, Tara held positions within the organization as a Research Advisor and Research Analyst, focusing on research investment. Prior to BRANZ, Tara worked at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment as a Grants and Investment Coordinator in the Science, Skills, and Innovation sector. Tara's career began at the Institute of Environmental Science and Research Ltd (ESR), where responsibilities included work as a Technician in the Bacteriology and Toxicology Laboratories. Tara holds a degree in Biomedical Science with double majors in Human Genetics and Molecular Pathology from Victoria University of Wellington, completed between 2004 and 2006.
