Fernanda Cardoso is an accomplished professional with experience in leadership and organizational roles. As the BRASA Selective Processes Manager and Analyst since November 2022, Fernanda has been instrumental in developing BRASA's fifth generation of Scholarship Students by selecting promising Brazilian young leaders for opportunities in prestigious global universities. Additionally, Fernanda interned with the International AIDS Society in late 2024, contributing to literature searches on HIV/AIDS, coordinating Technical Working Group meetings, and providing administrative support for research grant programs. Previously, as Chief Executive Officer of Projeto Arroz com Feijão from March 2020 to June 2022, Fernanda oversaw fundraising and food distribution efforts that resulted in the provision of essential supplies to communities affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health, Economics, and Sociology at Boston University, Fernanda also holds an IB Diploma from St. Nicholas School and has attended a Health and Wellness summer program at Yale University.
