Karina Keller Borges is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in recruitment, selection, training, and HR strategy implementation across various organizations. Currently serving as the Coordenadora de Recursos Humanos at Brasil Terminal Portuário since April 2018, Karina leads the development of HR processes, oversees talent management systems, and supports management in decision-making related to organizational structure and personnel allocation. Brasil Terminal Portuário is the newest and most modern port operator in the right bank of Santos Port. Its multi-user terminal has approximately 490,000 square meters and current handling capacity of 1.2 million TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit) . The local was considered one of the largest environmental liabilities of the State of São Paulo for more than five decades. In 2009, BTP started the environmental land remediation work, concluding the process in March, 2012 . The investment in the project is about USD 1 billion, and the terminal was officially inaugurated in November, 2013. The company has about 1,000 employees and generates thousands of indirect jobs. Continuous investments in training and professional qualification contribute to the high level of quality in its services. Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP) is a joint-venture between Terminal Investment Limited (TIL) and APM Terminals, both with vast experience in port construction, management and operations in dozens of countries and cultures around the world.
