Claudia Merfert

Claudia Merfert is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Head of People & Organizational Development for Braskem in the Europe/Asia region since February 2020, where responsibilities include managing the Center of Excellence focused on Talent Attraction, Employer Branding, Learning & Development, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategy. Prior to this role, Claudia held various positions at Braskem, including Learning & Organizational Development Specialist and Interim P&O Leader, where key achievements involved driving organizational and cultural development and implementing global HR initiatives. Claudia's earlier experience includes serving as an HR Expert at Arvato Supply Chain Solutions, where contributions included implementing HR processes and providing strategic consulting, as well as roles at Bauerfeind AG, persona service, Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG, and Stadt- und Kreissparkasse Leipzig. Claudia holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Services from Leipzig University and a Diplom-Betriebswirtin (BA) in Banking Economics from Berufsakademie Leipzig.
