Fernando Vecchiati

Fernando Vecchiati is a seasoned professional in process and emergency safety, currently serving as Coordenador de Segurança de Processos e Emergência at Braskem since September 2021, after previously holding similar roles in the company from November 2013 to December 2019. With experience as Engenheiro de Emergência at SBM Offshore from January 2020 to September 2021, Fernando has a rich background in risk assessment methodologies such as HAZOP and LOPA, having further developed expertise as an intern at DNV from June 2012 to October 2013. Additionally, Fernando contributed to project management and client relations while working as a consultant in the Junior Enterprise Consulting Engineering of UFRJ from March 2009 to December 2011. Fernando holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, completed in 2013.
