Lucas Palhares

Lucas Palhares has extensive experience in various managerial roles at Braskem since February 2011, including Head of Transformation, Growth Manager, and Circular Economy and Sustainability Manager. Responsibilities include driving strategic development and execution for polypropylene and polyethylene in Europe and Asia, optimizing product line profitability, and enhancing pricing models. Prior to Braskem, Lucas held positions at Unilever and M13 International. Lucas is well-educated, having completed executive courses at prestigious institutions such as INSEAD and The London School of Economics, focusing on business strategy, financial performance, and climate change governance. Lucas holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on electronics from Centro Universitário do Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia and an MBA from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa.
