Walter W. has a strong and diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Walter started their career in 2001 at Activision as a Quality Assurance professional, where they managed teams and reported software malfunctions. In 2005, they joined Treyarch as a Level Designer, where they designed and implemented various levels for games like Call of Duty 3 and James Bond: Quantum Of Solace. Walter then moved to Monolith Productions in 2011 as a Senior Designer, working on Shadow of War and focusing on developing spawning systems and gameplay mechanics. In 2018, Walter joined Undead Labs as a Principal Game Designer, working on State of Decay 2 and its DLCs, where they contributed to the systems and missions in the game. Currently, they are working at Brass Lion Entertainment as a Senior Game Designer and was recently promoted to Principal Game Designer. Overall, Walter W. has a strong track record and expertise in game design and development.
In 1999, Walter W. attended Crenshaw Highly Gifted Magnet High School for one year, but did not pursue any specific degree or field of study during this time.

Brass Lion Entertainment is an entertainment studio focused on creating original fictional universes that center on Black, Brown, and other traditionally marginalized characters, cultures, and stories. A POC-majority studio, Brass Lion is propelled by an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce that fosters belongingness. We have adapted to a fully remote working structure, with our team members contributing from New York City, Montréal, and fourteen other locations across Canada and the United States. We’ve been hard at work on an unannounced Action-Role Playing Game project for consoles and PC. Corner Wolves – a fictional narrative podcast – is also in development.
