Yara Aoun

Yara Aoun currently serves as the President of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, where leadership is demonstrated by managing a team of ten officers and overseeing a significant budget to enhance student engagement. Yara has previously held roles as Secretary, creating engaging content for social media and managing membership activities, and as an Underclassmen Representative, organizing events and fostering connections among students. Yara's professional experience includes a Supply Chain & Operations Intern position at Brasserie Almaza Lebanon, focusing on operational efficiency projects, and an internship at Nesma & Partners, where Yara contributed to architectural designs and gained hands-on experience in the construction process. Yara is pursuing a degree in Systems Engineering and Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
