Angie Maldonado

Angie Maldonado, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Starting in 1999, they worked as an Administrative & Personnel Specialist (HR Specialist) at Marine Corps Recruiting, where they successfully resolved a department audit failure and audited a significant number of backlogged travel claims.

In 2006, Angie served as an Executive Assistant at the New York City Mayors Office of Veteran Affairs, where they provided advice and support on veteran and military-related initiatives.

From 2009 to 2015, they served as the General Manager at JV Custom Furniture, where they optimized operational efficiency through the development of standard operating procedures and improved customer satisfaction through leadership development.

In 2015, Angie worked as an HR Project Manager at Trusted Source Intelligence, partnering with the Business Operations Leader to develop marketing strategies and increase client engagement.

Angie then moved on to Apria Healthcare in 2016, serving as a Compensation Analyst and supporting the company's home respiratory services and medical equipment offerings.

From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a People Services, Business Partner at Behr Process Corporation, a subsidiary of Masco Corporation, where they provided HR support to the architectural paint and wood care products supplier.

Currently, Angie holds the position of Human Resources Director at Brasstech, Inc., also a subsidiary of Masco Corporation. In this role, they oversee HR functions for a manufacturer of kitchen and bath fixtures, accessories, lighting, and mirrors.

Angie Maldonado, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from UC Irvine, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Nichols College between 2003 and 2006, majoring in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their formal education, Angie Maldonado has also obtained certifications in Diversity and Inclusion for HR from Cornell University in December 2020 and as a Senior Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resource Management in January 2017.
