Wade Snider

Wade Snider is an experienced economist with over 26 years in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Economist at Brazos Electric Power Cooperative since 1997, where previous roles included Power Supply Analyst III and Planning Economist. Prior to this, Wade gained experience as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from 1994 to 1996. Wade holds a Master of Science in Economics from Baylor University, where studies were completed from 1993 to 1994, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Baylor University, obtained from 1988 to 1992.

Brazos Electric Power Cooperative

Brazos Electric is a 3,839 megawatt generation and transmission cooperative whose members' service territory extends across 68 counties from the Texas Panhandle to Houston. Organized in 1941, Brazos Electric was the first cooperative formed in the Lone Star state for the purpose of generating and supplying electrical power. Today, it is the largest generation and transmission cooperative in Texas. Brazos Electric is the wholesale power supplier for its 16 member-owner distribution cooperatives and one municipal system. Owned by its member cooperatives, Brazos Electric board of directors is comprised of one representative from each of our 16 members.
