John Schuler

John Schuler is a Term Assistant Professor in Computational and Data Sciences at George Mason University, actively teaching courses related to data science and computational social science since August 2024. Previously, John served as a Senior Economist at Kukun, specializing in home price prediction and utilizing programming languages such as Python, R, and Julia. Additional experience includes positions as an Adjunct Professor of Statistics at Southern New Hampshire University, Professor of Economics at Universidad Francisco Marroquín, and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Washington College. John holds a Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University and has extensive experience in credit risk analysis from roles at Fannie Mae. Educational background also includes a Master of Science in Statistics from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from St. John's College.
