Apprentice Success Coach at Brazosport Independent School District

Kristen Demland has a robust background in education and instructional technology, currently serving as an Apprentice Success Coach and Coordinator of Instructional Technology at Brazosport Independent School District since July 2020. In this role, Kristen develops and refines district-wide strategies for instructional technology, actively researching and evaluating emerging educational technologies. Prior experience at the same district includes serving as Coordinator of Digital Learning for PreK-6, where Kristen led the planning and evaluation of technology practices and initiated district-wide technology programs. Additionally, Kristen has a strong foundation in teaching, having collaborated on lesson plans and created conducive learning environments for students. Kristen's early experience includes an internship with Congressman Kevin Brady, assisting constituents and supporting staff on various projects. Kristen holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Sam Houston State University, complemented by an Associate’s Degree from Brazosport College.
