Chesnoiu Catalin is an experienced Information Security Officer currently employed at BRD - Groupe Societe Generale since April 2024, having previously worked as a Cyber Security Engineer at SMEDIX Inc from January 2023 to April 2024. Throughout a diverse career, Chesnoiu Catalin has contributed to multiple international cybersecurity projects, gaining expertise in compliance with standards such as HIPAA, FDA Guidelines, GDPR, and NMPA, as well as conducting assessments and threat modeling. Prior roles include software development positions at ALTFACTOR and Wind River, focusing on cybersecurity awareness, virtual reality and augmented reality applications, and automation workflows. Chesnoiu Catalin holds a Master’s degree in Advanced IT Technologies and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Universitatea „Dunărea de Jos” din Galați.
