Lighting Consultant at BRE

Lorna Flores is a Lighting Consultant at BRE since May 2022 and serves as a Lecturer at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL since November 2016, where also holds the position of Doctoral Researcher focusing on daylight and its impact on sleep quality perception. Lorna has experience as a Teaching Assistant at University College London from September 2017 to January 2025, supporting the Light and Lighting programme, and prior lectured as a Module Leader for "Daylight in buildings" at the University of Greenwich between January 2020 and September 2021. Lorna's earlier career includes roles in event production and design at Mindwax, as well as as an Industrial Designer at Conceptos, where responsibilities encompassed graphic identity development for retail projects. Educational background includes a PhD in Lighting and Health from UCL, a Master's degree in Light and Lighting from UCL, and various degrees in design from Universidad de Valparaíso and Tecnológico de Monterrey.
