Vikas Punamiya

Vikas Punamiya is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. Currently serving as Director at Advanced Respiratory Interventions & Sleep Evaluation (ARISE) Medical Research Centre since July 2017, Vikas also holds consultant positions in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at several prestigious hospitals, including Global Hospital, Punamiya Hospital, and Breach Candy Hospital Trust, all since January 2017. Prior roles include Consultant Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital from February 2014 to December 2016 and Consultant Respiratory Physician at Royal Lancaster Infirmary from November 2012 to January 2014. Vikas began the medical career as a Specialist Registrar in various trusts, with an initial role as Registrar at Blackpool Fylde and Wyre Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Vikas completed education at Don Bosco High School in Mumbai from 1979 to 1989.
