David Gist

Regional Organizer at Bread for the World

David Gist has extensive experience in organizing and mission work, currently serving as a Regional Organizer for Bread for the World since October 2001. Gist previously worked as a Mission Worker for the PCUSA in Managua, Nicaragua from March 1994 to July 2000. Additionally, Gist contributed to the UCLA Oral History Program from January 1988 to November 1993, holding the roles of Editor, Researcher, and Interviewer. Gist holds a Master's degree in U.S. History from Claremont Graduate University, earned between 1987 and 1993, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from UCLA, completed in 1986.
