UX Design Researcher at Breakerbox

Joanne Olivia Fountain has a diverse work experience in various roles related to UX design, research, and content creation.

From November 2022 onwards, they have been working as a UX Design Researcher at Breakerbox, where they collaborate with the Head of Design to convert stakeholder needs and user insights into polished digital designs for web and mobile applications.

Starting in November 2022, Joanne also worked as a User Experience Design Researcher at pear.ai. In this role, they implemented usability tests and research studies, wrote scripts, and guided cross-functional teams in creating research questions.

In 2022, they worked as a UI/UX Designer at Codefacto, where they provided design services in an Agile environment. Joanne Olivia created wireframes, UI components, prototypes, and design systems for a video learning website.

Prior to that, Joanne was a Technical Intern at IN4.0 Group, where they participated in a 12-week AWS Cloud Practitioner Training program.

In 2020, they served as an Editor and Visual Content Creator for Yoga Box Live and as a Video Editor at We Are Invite.

Overall, Joanne's work experience showcases their expertise in UX design, research, content creation, and project coordination within diverse industries and organizations.

Joanne Olivia Fountain obtained their Master's degree in Visual Anthropology - The Granada Centre from The University of Manchester, from 2016 to 2018. In addition, they have also acquired certifications including the Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in May 2022 and the AWS re/Start Graduate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021.
