Nicole Ouellette

Nicole Ouellette is an experienced entrepreneur and educator with a diverse background in internet marketing, coworking spaces, and education. As the Owner of Breaking Even Communications since January 2008, Nicole has specialized in social media, email newsletters, and search engine optimization to serve clients in Downeast Maine and beyond. Nicole founded Anchorspace in February 2015, providing collaborative coworking spaces in Bar Harbor, Maine, and Potsdam, New York. Further contributions to academia include serving as an Adjunct Professor at the College of the Atlantic, where Nicole taught a course on online writing for social change. Previous roles include Online Content Editor at the Ellsworth American and Place-Based Education Officer at the Island Institute. Nicole holds degrees from Bates College and the University of Maine, focusing on French and Education.
