Ameer Brown

Ameer Brown has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ameer'smost recent role is as the Co-Founder and President of Breakr, a seed-funded influencer marketing platform. Prior to this, they worked at Adobe for several years, starting as an Apprentice Software Engineer and eventually becoming a Software Quality Engineer III on the Adobe Spark team. Ameer also completed a fellowship with Adobe and General Assembly, where they participated in a 12-week intensive Web Development program. Additionally, Ameer has previous experience in business development and marketing, having held positions at GlobalData, /+ssembly, and Lavish Entertainment Group, where they co-founded the company and managed social media and projects. Ameer has also worked as a Staff Writer at Florida A&M University and as a Public Affairs Intern at VIACOM - BET NETWORKS. Ameer's earliest work experience was as an Intern at the YMCA of Greater New York.

Ameer Brown started their education at Blair Academy, where they completed their high school education from 2006 to 2009. After that, they attended Wesleyan University from 2009 to 2010, where they studied economics for a year before transferring. Ameer then enrolled at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations. Ameer attended this institution from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, Ameer also completed a certificate program in Digital Marketing at General Assembly. In 2016, they further enhanced their skills by completing a certificate program in Web Development Immersive from General Assembly as well.
