Ernestine Jackson

Ernestine Jackson, M.S., currently serves as the Associate Director of Postsecondary Advising at Breakthrough Central Texas, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this role, Ernestine was the College and Career Readiness Coordinator at Aldine ISD and a College Counselor and Junior Seminar Teacher at YES Prep Public Schools from 2019 to 2023. Additional experience includes serving as an Application Reader at the University of San Francisco and advising high school seniors at Houston ISD as a College and Career Readiness Advisor. Ernestine has also worked as an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor at Our Lady of the Lake University and has prior experience in insurance claims as an Associate Claims Representative at The Hartford. Ernestine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University.
