Sophie Rubin

Sophie Rubin is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Collaborative, where responsibilities include teaching 7th grade Biology, creating lesson plans, and guiding students through experiments. Previous roles include Assistant K-1 Teacher at BIRCHES SCHOOL, where planning and leading Spanish lessons was a key focus, and Camp Counselor at Camp Fernwood, supervising and teaching waterskiing to young campers. Additionally, Sophie worked as a Day Camp Counselor at Hampton Country Day Camp, managing activities for 4-year-olds, and served as a Teacher Assistant at Horizons National, providing support in a Kindergarten summer school setting. Sophie Rubin is pursuing an education at Tufts University, expected to graduate in 2025, and has a strong foundation from Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School.
