Francesca joined Breakthrough Energy in April of 2022, where she focuses on strategic development and cross-cutting partner operations. Her work supports collaborative programmatic priorities, engagement opportunities, strategic communications, and relationship management. She plans to leverage her passion for relationship building to develop strong philanthropic and policy partnerships to achieve the team’s net-zero goal by 2050.
Prior to joining the Partnerships team, Francesca spent four years as a management consultant for philanthropic organizations, NGO’s, political campaigns, and technology companies. With an expert eye for organization and attention to detail, she managed events and communications for high-profile clientele, with a focus on philanthropic convenings pertaining to climate, global health, and international development.
In addition to her mission-driven work, Francesca built processes and organizational frameworks for large technology companies. This included the development of global PMO practices, strategy, metrics, and program execution. She is a natural problem solver and finds joy in creating efficient and effective solutions through thoughtful analysis, program, and relationship management.
Francesca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington. Outside of work, she loves exploring the outdoors with her fiancé and Golden Retriever. You can find them skiing through the winter, then mountain biking and hiking through the summer—no doubt inspired by her PNW roots as a Seattle native.
