Guy Michlin

Guy Michlin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and community building across various sectors. Currently serving as a Breakthrough Energy Fellow since 2023, Guy is focused on exploring Climate Tech start-up ideas in response to the climate crisis. Previously, as Head of Host Success & Community for Airbnb Experiences from 2017 to 2022, Guy led the development of a global community strategy that significantly enhanced customer satisfaction and business growth. Guy co-founded and served as CEO of Eatwith from 2011 to 2017, overseeing its expansion in over 100 countries. In the role of VP of Business Development at SolarPower from 2008 to 2010, Guy established a successful power generation business unit. Early career experience includes serving as a Senior Assistant to the State Attorney at the Israeli Ministry of Justice from 1999 to 2004, managing complex corporate law cases. Guy holds an MBA from Stanford University, an LLM from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an LLB from The College of Management Academic Studies, all achieved with distinction.
