Kristian Gubsch

Innovator Fellow at Breakthrough Energy

Kristian Gubsch is a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Mars Materials and an Innovator Fellow at Breakthrough Energy. Gubsch has experience as a Research Assistant at Washington State University, contributing to both the Voiland School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering and the Laboratory for Atmospheric Research. Additionally, Gubsch served as the WSU AIChE Student Regional Conference Chair and represented the American Chemical Society as an Undergraduate Delegate to COP25. Gubsch completed the Ernest F. Hollings Scholarship Internship at NOAA and holds two Master's degrees: an MSc in Innovation from Imperial College Business School and an MSc in Environmental and Energy Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
