Sydney Galaz

Sydney M. Galaz is a seasoned research professional with extensive experience in both management and field research. Currently serving as Senior Research Manager at Breakthrough Research since June 2021, previous roles include Research Manager and Research Associate within the same organization. Sydney's early career includes a position as Graduate Researcher at Refugee Children Center, Inc. and an internship at the Office of Immigrant Affairs for the City of Los Angeles. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Science degree from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from UC San Diego, where Sydney also held various research and mentorship positions.
