Jill Thompson

Jill Thompson has extensive experience in leadership and finance within the charitable and corporate sectors. As Chair of the Board of Trustees for Breast Cancer Now since April 2019, Jill has been pivotal in uniting two charities to better serve those affected by breast cancer. Additionally, Jill serves as a Board Director and Chair of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee at The Fund Raising Regulator, overseeing standards for charitable fundraising in the UK. Previous roles include Treasurer at Breast Cancer Care, where financial health and strategy were monitored, and various positions in investment management at Insight Investment and Schroders, notably managing significant portfolios and overseeing client relationships. Jill began a career in corporate finance with J. Henry Schroder & Co. Limited and others, and holds a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Cambridge.
