Ian Campbell has a diverse work experience. Ian is the CEO and co-founder of Breathe Battery Technologies since May 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at Imperial Consultants (ICON) from November 2015 to May 2019. Ian also participated in the International Graduate Program at Nokia from June 2014 to February 2015. Additionally, they were a Business Development Intern at Mavrx Inc. in 2013. Before that, they served as an Events Project Manager at UCL Enterprise Society from October 2012 to August 2013. Ian gained internship experience as an Intern Engineer at OpenHydro in 2011 and as an Intern Engineer at Timoney Technology Limited in 2010.

Ian Campbell completed their education in a chronological order. Ian began their academic journey in 2008 at University College Dublin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2012. Following this, in 2012, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Management at UCL, which they completed in 2013. In 2015, Ian enrolled at Imperial College London, where they focused on Battery Engineering and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in 2019. In addition to their formal education, Ian also obtained a certification as a PADI Open Water Diver from PADI in July 2013.
