Waleed Qadir Sheikh

Waleed Qadir Sheikh has over 10 years of work experience. Waleed began their career in 2010 as a Line Producer at Post House Pro. Waleed then worked as a Viewing Library Manager at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival in the same year. In 2012, they became a Production Coordinator at Creative Kettle. In 2015, they worked as a Business Development Specialist at UCF Signs, a company certified with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Waleed also worked as a Sales Marketing Manager at iClick Electronics and a Production Coordinator at Elite Media Works. In 2018, they became a Business Development Manager at Intigrey Construction WLL. In 2020, they were a Co-Founder at BreatheIO and a Business Development Manager at AQSFM. In 2021, they became an Assistant Producer at Expo 2020 Dubai, where they were part of over 400 events, mostly for the Programme for People and Planet. Waleed was responsible for coordinating production and technical aspects of the events, from directing production staff to testing equipment to managing the control room.

Waleed Qadir Sheikh completed their BA (Hons) Media & Communication from Middlesex University in 2010, focusing on Communication and Media Studies. Prior to that, they attended a Filmmaking Workshop at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in 2005, with a focus on Film/Cinema/Video Studies. Also in 2005, they completed a Graphic Designing certification from Sites Power, Dubai, with a focus on Graphic Design.
