Sarina L.

Sarina L. has a diverse background with experience in various roles. Sarina is currently working as a Firmware Engineer at BreatheSuite since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Teacher Assistant Marker at Dalhousie University from September 2016 to July 2020.

Sarina also gained experience as an Electronic EIT at Aethera Technologies in January 2020, where they designed and developed LTspice simulations and automated test procedures using MATLAB. Sarina previously served as an Electrical Engineer Co-op Student at the same company in 2019, where they worked on designing LTspice simulations, analyzing MOSFETs, and creating MATLAB programs.

Moreover, Sarina has experience as a Co-op Research Software Engineer at Nova Scotia Health Authority, where they designed and developed software extensions in Java and programmed MATLAB scripts for research analysis. Sarina also created a macro on ImageJ to improve image processing efficiency.

During their co-op at J.D. Irving, Limited in 2018, Sarina worked as an Electrical Engineer Co-op Student and was responsible for producing graphics interfaces, developing Excel VBA macros, and simulating distributed control system scenarios.

Before embarking on their engineering career, Sarina worked as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at Canada Games Centre Halifax from December 2013 to November 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Private Tutor from September 2016 to June 2017 while being self-employed.

Sarina L. pursued their education from 2015 to 2020, attending Dalhousie University. During this period, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Biomedical Engineering from the same institution in September 2020.
